Personnel Safety

Due to the isolated environment of Blast Freezing, Proofing, Steaming, Refrigerated Cooling, and Drying Systems, I.J. WHITE has developed a number of safety systems to protect plant personnel which might make the difference in the event of an unforeseen emergency.

IMPORTANT SAFETY TIP: When changing or inspecting any parts, the Electrical Control Panel and all Motors must be locked out.

Main Drive System Alarm
Protects Main Drive Motor Base and Drive System.

Reduces Downtime: Reacts to potential drive problems
Senses Correct Chain Position: Extends the life of your drive system.
Extreme Elements: Operable at -50°F to +225°F

Man-in-System
I.J. WHITE engineers developed the Man-in-System to notify plant personnel that an employee who entered the system has not emerged after a predetermined safe time. When an enclosure door is opened, an automatic timer is activated. After a preset time period, if the alert button on the Electronic Control Center is not cleared, a warning alarm is triggered.

Personnel Alert System
An emergency life line is available to install around the perimeter of your system. If an emergency occurs, pulling the life line will sound an alarm and stop the system.
