All I.J. WHITE SYSTEMS incorporate safety features for added employee
protection as well as protective devices for the spiral system itself.
The Torque Limiter is a protective device that limits torque transmitted
from the take-up drive motor when the demand exceeds a preset value
as a result of shock loads, overloads, or machine jams. The torque
limiter will automatically re-engage when the overload torque has
passed, thereby eliminating machine damage and costly downtime.
