First USDA Approved Proofing System is designed and installed for pockets and breads stuffed with meat and poultry.

Smith Food & Drug a division of Kroger/ Fred Meyer installs the first IJ White Intermediate Proofing System for frozen bread and rolls. This system is more compact, easier to clean, and improves product quality by eliminating transfers, compared to traditional systems.

1993:
The first Water Cooling System is engineered and installed for cooling pouches.
1993:
The second addition to manufacturing facility at 20 Executive Boulevard is completed. This increased our manufacturing and support operations to over 42,000 sq/ft.

The Pita Solution is designed and installed to provide a cost effective solution for cooling Pita Bread.

First Spiral Processing System built for the Poultry Industry.

Mass-Tier introduced to the Bottling and Canning Industry. Seagrams installs the first Accumulating System.

The first addition to the manufacturing facility at 20 Executive Boulevard is completed. This expansion dramatically increased our capability to build today's Ultra Series Spiral Systems
1988:
The first Final Proofing System for Sweet Goods is installed at Entenmann's in Miami, Florida.
Spring of 1987:
IJ White purchases it's 4th manufacturing facility in Farmingdale, NY and installs the latest manufacturing technology to produce spiral systems. Today, after two major expansions, this is our World Headquarters. (see below)
Spring of 1978:
At the IBIE in Las Vegas IJ White introduces Series 700: All Stainless Steel and Aluminum Modular Frame System to eliminate rust and corrosion. This revolutionary design system is still Blast Freezing Corn Dogs at Leon's Fine Foods in Dallas, TX.
1977:
IJ White installs the first Cookie Cooling System designed to handle Penny Stacked base cookies. This concept has become a standard for saving floor space and improving cookie quality.

1976:
IJ White develops the first Spiral Plastic Belt and installs the first system for cooling quiches.
1975:
First All Stainless Steel Blast Freezing System was installed. Today, almost half of all IJ White Systems built are completely Stainless Steel.
1972:
Blast Freezing System for Poultry installed in France.

Spring 1968:
IJ White moves to its 3rd manufacturing facility in Farmingdale, Long Island.
Fall 1967:
First Blast Freezing System for Dinner Entrees was built for General Foods. This system was for their new Swanson TV Dinner Line and consisted of six(6) 2,500 foot Blast Freezing Spirals.
1967:
Designed and built the first Spiral System, an Oval Design.

1966:
IJ White was awarded an original manufacturing License to build Spiral Systems. Today, we are the only company that is still in existence that has not been sold or been dissolved that still manufacturers Spiral Systems.
1953:
Harold J. White moved the company to its third building in Flushing, New York near aGuadia Airport.
1950:
Irving John White expires, leaving IJ White to his son Harold.
1945:
Harold J. White, returned to the company after serving 3 years in the Navy during World War 11. He spent his first year on the aircraft carrier, USS Shamrock Bay, covering North Africa and later served on the USS Prince William in the South Pacific.
1937:
The company purchased a new building on Houston Street in downtown New York City.
1920's:
IJ White became a leading machinery jobber and integrator of equipment from Petersen Ovens, Union Machinery, Anetsberger, and Micro Machinery.
Summer 1919:
Founder John Irving White, IJ, started his company on Broome Street in New York City.
